What is the difference between a Provisional Psychologist and a Registered Psychologist?
A Provisional Psychologist has completed 5 years of training as opposed to the 6 years of a registered Psychologist and only needs to complete 1 more year of supervision prior to becoming Medicare registered.
All of our Provisionally Registered Psychologists are fully qualified, skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of the services they provide. Their being under supervision means that they are able to discuss their assessments, discussion and therapy implementation with their supervisor who is an even more experienced peer in the field of psychology.
