Beth Liu is a highly motivated, open-minded individual who is passionate about using her clinical skills and knowledge to make a difference to people’s lives. She also enjoys working collaboratively with people of all backgrounds and endeavours to adopt a holistic and client-centered approach to navigate the various challenges in one’s life.
Beth Liu is an Australian Association of Social Workers registered social worker. She speaks Mandarin and holds a Bachelor in Clinical Medicine, and a Master in Social work from University of South Australia. She has psychological experience in industries including child protection, aged care, disability, community health services and mental health services. All this has given her a strong foundation in community needs and health standards.
Beth’s interests include child counselling, play therapy, autism disorders, social anxiety, depression, behavior support plans, anger management, family counselling, general counselling, grief counselling, personality disorders, marriage and couples counselling.
Beth Liu uses evidence-based techniques including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), Problem Solving Skills Training and Solution Focused Therapy.
