Tara is a friendly and caring psychologist. She is dedicated to helping people navigate life’s challenges while providing a safe and supportive environment. Tara believes in working collaboratively with people and views each person as being an expert in their own life. She takes the time to build a trusting relationship and is focused on providing a thorough understanding of the challenges people face. Tara works with people to help develop a treatment plan that will address their specific needs.

Tara has experience working with clients across the lifespan in a range of settings. She is comfortable working with a wide variety of presenting concerns including depression, generalised anxiety, panic disorder, difficulties with social skills, chronic health conditions, and sleep difficulties.

Tara utilises evidence- based treatments such as cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). Tara believes that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to therapy and tailors her treatment style to fit the individual client.
