Tina Zhia Psychologist at Miranda

Tina has worked with a variety of presentations across all ages, including parents of children with behavioural and emotional difficulties; adults with anxiety, depression, and adjustment difficulties; university students with academic and lifestyle concerns; and hospital inpatients and outpatients undergoing medical rehabilitation. Tina also has an interest in neuropsychological assessments.

Tina is a Psychologist with general registration. She is also a Clinical Psychology Registrar completing her specialist training in clinical psychology. She holds a Master of Clinical Psychology from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Macquarie University.

With her Masters-level training, Tina is proficient in evidence-based psychological treatments such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Integrated CBT (MiCBT), and Parent Management Training (PMT). Tina’s approach is to support clients to be active participants in treatment that is individualised to meet their therapeutic goals.
