Simone Du Toit

Simone is a Provisional Psychologist who is passionate about helping people self-explore, reach their goals, and to live their lives in the fullest and most authentic way possible. She offers an empathetic, warm, and supportive space to work collaboratively with clients, where they can feel comfortable to share and explore.

Simone has experience working in adult ADHD assessment. Simone worked as a TMS Clinician (i.e., transcranial magnetic stimulation) for almost 6 years, working with people from late teens to older adults with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and/or obsessive compulsive disorder.

Simone has previously volunteered for Lifeline as a telephone crisis supporter and is passionate about helping people with ADHD, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, and depression,. With her research background, she uses evidence-based treatments, such as CBT, to support her clients.

Simone has a PhD in Clinical Psychology (Western Sydney University) that focused on treatment for social anxiety disorder, and is currently studying a Master of Clinical Psychology (Australian Catholic University).

When Simone isn’t working or spending time on her studies, she likes to do weights training at the gym, spend time with her family and friends, listen to music, and watch podcasts on YouTube.
